A fatal Yeppoon Road accident today has prompted a police investigation after a motorcyclist died following a single-vehicle crash at Ironpot, Queensland.
Emergency services were called to Yeppoon Road at approximately 10:52 p.m. Monday, following reports of a motorcycle crash. Responding crews found a male motorcyclist in a life-threatening condition at the scene.
Despite the emergency response, the man died at the scene.

A separate fatal crash occurred in July at Mulara, between Rockhampton and Yeppoon, when a white Polestar 2 and a Ford Territory collided head-on. A 29-year-old woman died at the scene, while the other driver was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
That earlier collision is separate from the latest motorcycle crash at Ironpot.
